Good morning Banter fam,
Everybody here in the US is super excited to celebrate the 4th of July today. Independence is core to any true freedom, and that is kinda what we are doing here with crypto. Trying to gain our financial freedom, through banking ourselves.
How long until we achieve this though? Every time we start seeing seemingly major adoption, the Bitcoin whales take back what was given. At least that’s one thesis. The truth is that we have all been talking for the last year as to whether we are early to crypto or not. After everything that has happened recently, along with the most recent Bitcoin ETF rejection, I am starting to think that we actually still are early.
And while BTC hovers around the levels it currently is, it only adds to that thesis.
Market update 🌍
BTC/USDA relatively quiet weekend in the crypto markets, as BTC continued to slowly toy with the US$19,000 – 20,000 range. Unfortunately, volume isn’t quite there yet, showcasing an absence of interest in sustaining any push up. Unless volume increases, the chances of price breaking through resistance remain quite slim. I have been looking at the daily BTC chart for reference. Expect some great charts by Sheldon and Kyle if there are any potential major moves they think are coming, which they are gearing up to trade. |

Banter’s take
Sometimes it is a good idea to step away from the charts and take a breather. No one wants to burn out. And if you are spending day in and day out in front of a screen, it may be time to step back for a moment to refresh. The markets will still be here tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after.
And if you feel you are losing touch with the current crypto ongoings, don’t worry, we will be here to keep you up to date. So if you haven’t yet, make sure you and all your friends and family have hit that subscribe button on the Morning Brew newsletter. And most importantly, if you are in the US, have a happy 4th of July.
