zkSync Airdrop Guide
Yesterday we wrote a guide to prepare for airdrops in Arbitrum; today, we’ll show you how to prepare for zkSync’s anticipated distribution.
First off, you can still qualify for newly airdropped OP tokens on Optimism; here’s a handy guide to get you started on the network.
zkSync Guide:
The zkSync ecosystem is relatively barren compared to the vastness of Arbitrum, but zkSwap encompasses some major Dapps available through its mobile wallet Argent.
First, You’ll need to bridge funds from the Ethereum network. You can bridge ETH, DAI, USDC, or WBTC on LayerSwap.
- Trade on Zigzag exchange
- Stake ETH on Lido (6% APY) or Yearn through the wallet
- Lend/Loan ETH or USDC on Aave
- Earn yield on Gro Protocol
If you have unstaked ETH, Lido is a cheap, easy option to begin earning yields.

Market update 🌍
It feels like a do-or-die moment for bitcoin (BTC). Attempts to climb upwards get firmly met with sellers, but on the other hand, BTC price continues to put in higher lows resiliently. Something has to give soon.
The BTC chart shows a decisive inflection point dead ahead that could line up with the FOMC rate hikes that will likely occur next week. Since markets hate uncertainty, the rate hikes could bring some type of clarity, whether negative or positive. A break to the downside of the upward trendline (green) could spell trouble and verify the large crowd of analysts that claim bitcoin needs a capitulation moment before we begin a significant climb. The FOMC and May options expiration will likely spell definitive moments for the ultimate direction of BTC. Bitcoin climbed 2.78% to US$39,200 during the US session.

The dollar index (DXY) additionally showcases an important catalyst ahead. The DXY has reached levels not touched since 2016. The DXY typically climbs during times of uncertainty as traders exit equities in search of safety. With the state of the macroeconomic world, it’s no surprise to see these levels in the dollar. It could become worrisome if the dollar decides to break the long-held resistance and turn it into support.

Grab your beach chairs, umbrellas, and sunscreen. L2 summer has begun early with the Optimistic OP token airdrops. The L2s ecosystem will begin to thrive after token releases. The most liquid network in crypto now has cheaper alternatives. Ethereum competitors like Solana and Avalanche better prepare for an aggressive attempt to steal users from their networks. It won’t be pretty, and competition will have to get creative, or the emerging Ethereum family of L2s will showcase their strength behind the most decentralized, liquid, and secure network in the cryptoverse.
